Review from Good Times Magazine:
Here is further proof of why a lush string section is so necessary to top-notch orchestras. Superb arrangements and interpretations of Handel, Haydn, Pachabell and other composers are what you’ll find on the self-titled debut album of this family trio.
Guitarist Kevin McDowell is one father who really spends quality time with his children - strong musicianship and a true appreciation of music are being repeated in the next generation. Older sister Lydia shines on violin. She has been perfecting her playing since she was 3 1/2. Younger sister Mona also began playing violin when she was a toddler, but switched to cello at the ripe old age of 4 1/2. The word prodigy would probably apply here in both cases.
There are many standout tracks on the album, including Haydn's Divertimento, Handel's Sinfonia and Fuge and the perennial processional favorite for brides, Pachabell’s Cannon in D. Producer Stephen Tosh penned on Gypsy King and Abstract Rag.
